Holdem Manager 2 Improves Preferred Seating Detection for PokerStars

On March 10, Holdem Manager 2 released Version 2.0.0.8004, which corrects, improves, and implements many new features.  Here is a look at some of what this update has addressed.

Some of the most major updates are site-specific including improved preferred seating detection for PokerStars players.  This is an important fix since many players like to sit at the same seat while playing to help identify their hands faster, especially on PokerStars, where it is very easy to multi-table.  Different preferred seating issues were corrected for Holdem Manager 2 customers playing on Boss as well.

Several Pacific Poker skins released updates that caused compatibility problems.  The latest update corrected this issue, making it possible to use Holdem Manager 2 regardless of the Pacific Poker skin you use.  Holdem Manager fixed issues relating to the network's fast-fold poker, Snap Poker, as well.  Having a HUD in fast-fold poker is even more important than at other tables since you do not have other factors such as game flow to rely on while playing.

Other Pacific Poker issues that were fixed included six-max tables being recognized as full ring tables.  That problem was also fixed for those playing on Microgaming.

A few HUD-specific features were addressed in this update, including implementing new pop-up designer modifications specifically to assist with issues on modifications not resetting when creating a new pop-up.  Another HUD-specific issue was fixing the settings "Edit" button to not allow multiple windows to open.

For those of you who use hotkeys, you should be happy to hear of a couple of fixes.  Since Holdem Manager 2 was designed to help multi-table more efficiently, having the hotkeys working is an important time-saver.  Issues with the F8 button tagging the wrong hand and other issues with the F9 button are now fixed.  There is also the ability to copy hands onto the clipboard in a few formats in the hotkeys.

There were a few miscellaneous updates to Table Scanner and SitNGo Wizard.  So, if you use either of these add-ons, you should be happy to know that whenever there is a problem, no matter how big or small, the Holdem Manager team will address it.

Besides investing a ton of time updating the software, Holdem Manager's team has done an excellent job updating their blog as well.  As mentioned in a recent article, Holdem Manager is hosting a video series called "Pimp Your HUD" where you can learn how to get the most out of your HUD design.  There are also interesting tidbits about new powerful NoteCaddy features and a preview of the HM2 HUD Repository.

If you do not already have Holdem Manager 2, you can check it out for free for 30 days.  If you like what you see, and we are sure you will, you can purchase the license that's right for you.  Prices range from $59.99 for the Small-Stakes Hold'em or Omaha Version to $159.99 for the Professional Combo Hold'em and Omaha Version.  Check out Holdem Manager 2 today!
